1 Lb. Beef Brisket
1 ½ Cups Water
1 Envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
2/3 Cup Ketchup
½ Lb. Mushrooms (Optional)

Sear beef brisket on both sides in an electric fry pan. Lower heat to 250-degrees and add mixtures of 1 ½ cup water, 1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix, 2/3 cup ketchup over top of meat. Cook 45 minutes and then slice. Return to pan and cook in juices for 1 to 1 ½ hours more. May add ½ pound of mushrooms. Add more water if juices get too thick. Takes total of four ¼ to four ¾ hours.
